Yesterday Wendell Sheffield and Christopher Daniel won hard-fought lesser included offenses for a client charged with five counts of capital murder. After a two week trial the jury returned not guilty verdicts on all capital murder charges, instead electing to find the client guilty on the lesser included offense of felony murder. The client will be eligible for parole.
